Sports-Science Counselling (LSB)

Sports-science counselling helps healthy people shape exercise, training and load sensibly, for example for fitness, balance or a concrete athletic goal. It is regulated as a restricted form of Lebens- und Sozialberatung and is aimed at people without complaints requiring treatment.

What it is for

It finds the right form and amount of exercise for people of all ages and provides substantial support, for example with:

• weight reduction
• stress relief and balance
• prevention, health promotion and quality of life

The primary goal is to integrate healthy movement habits early enough into everyday life to prevent chronic complaints, overload and pain. For mental health it is interesting where exercise serves as a counterbalance to stress. It replaces neither therapy nor medical treatment.
